Air Services (EAS) is the proud industry leader for freight movements
between their domestic stations in South Africa:

EAS handles more than 100 flights a day and manages a substantial portion of South Africa’s general, perishable and express cargo every year. Cargo is transported safely and securely with a hand-in time of 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure times.
The constant drive to improve service delivery levels (99.75%) is achieving hand-out times of 20 to 40 minutes, giving clients the advantage in the air and on the ground.
EAS operates a unique closed loop system where the cargo is delivered to and collected from the aircraft directly by EAS staff, enhancing cargo security and service level delivery.
ONX - Overnight Express
Imperial Air Cargo (IAC) is a dedicated freight operator providing a night express airfreight service of return flights from Johannesburg to Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London and George - all key routes for the courier sector.
Hand in time 60 minutes, hand out time 60 minutes.
SDX – Same-Day Express Service
EAS guarantees that express cargo will fly on the first available flight to its destination.
With in excess of 100 flights per day this is a truly express service.
FFR – Fleet Freight
Designed for the courier industry for larger consignments sent during the day.
EAS guarantees that cargo will fly within three flights from time of hand-in, to destination.
NDS – Normal Freight Service
Normal Freight is for economy freight movements.
Delivery times are not guaranteed but with more than 100 flights per day the cargo is delivered in the shortest, safest time possible.
AVI – Livestock
Livestock and pets receive preferential treatment at EAS.
This cargo is handled with safety and care. All livestock is handled in approved containers only.
HR – Human Remains
EAS provides this specialised service through accredited agents only.
Prior bookings and arrangements are essential as human remains move on specific flights only.
PER – Perishables
Perishable freight receives preference over normal freight.
EAS expertly handle perishable cargo in state of the art cold rooms in all its branches in South Africa, providing a unique, unbroken cold chain.
Special arrangements are made for frozen cargo.
